Day 5

Did Rachael's wedding today. I took almost 500 pictures today! Holy Cow!! I found a few that fit for this project. My sweet little Emma was so cute today. She loved the dancing at the reception but she was so tired! She looked so cute peaking over the chair, I just had to snap a picture!

Emma found a dancing partner in little Wesley. Aren't they cute?

I wanted to throw this last picture in the mix. It's the place where my family became a forever family. This picture turned out SO amazing!

Day 4

Crazy day ! I had a photo shoot with my dear friend Rachael Browner (soon to be Boston!) They were such a cute bride and groom. With all the that I managed two cute pictures:

Isn't my mom cute? She really loves her grandbabies, and they love her bunches and bunches! My mom keeps saying how much Beka looks like me. I thinks so, but then Allen and I look so much alike, it's hard to tell with our kids who they look more like!

Day 3

One of our favorite things to do as a family is have movie night. We order pizza, pop popcorn, drink sodas and watch a movie together. Usually it's a Disney picture and tonight was no exception. Riley picked out the Tigger Movie. He is a such an interesting age... He's so much fun and yet so frustrating too! But I snapped this quick picture of him and thought it was really cute with all the food all over his face! I did a little color changes in light room and photo shop. I thought the color made the picture look like an old fashion movie poster. By the way his shirt says: FEED ME. Which is so Riley these days!

Day 2

I've always wanted to try taking pictures of my babies when they are asleep... But I've always been afraid too. Mostly about not wanting to wake them up! But I thought I'd try it tonight. Beka's looking to cute! The room was totally dark, so I grabbed on of my tripods. I set the camera to TV so I could control how long the expose was, which I set to 2". I then edited it a bit in Lightroom (learning to LOVE that program). I really liked the results.

The Beginning, Day 1

I was inspired by my friend Lynnette. She is also doing this project. She said the rules are
1) pick a subject
2) post a picture a day for 365 days
3) if on vacation make sure to take picks and post them when you get home.

What a great goal! And what a cool book it would make at the end of the year! So I thought I take on this daunting task too.

So, my subject will be, what else my family! Maybe when they are all grown I'll have other photographic interests, but for now this is it. I LOVE taking pictures of people particularity my people, I find pleasure in capturing the moment. So, I guess when my little ones are grown, I'll just be snapping pictures of their little ones!

Well, for the first picture: I took this on my phone (hence it's really grainy, and the color sucks) I haven't used my nice big camera today, weird my friends, yes. But anyhow it is what it is. I wanted to start this project while it's still fresh in my brain!

I turned from working on the computer this morning and looked at Emma. I had the scary realization that at my baby girl this morning (she is always the last one done with breakfast, everyone else had left the table... I don't really know why.), she's growing up! She's not a little baby anymore, she almost a "kid". How did that happen? She was so beautiful with this way cute smile, which she hates to do when I have the camera out. I caught this just in the nick of time! I can't believe she isn't this small anymore:
